Lumber measurementfor the measurement of sawn timber by means of a contactless measuring system
For the measurement of lumber we offer a non-contact measuring system which is able to measure width, thickness and length of the cut goods in the cross pass.
The board width is measured at three points (optionally also more measuring points are possible). The board thickness is measured by a high-resolution distance laser.
The measurement of the board length is done via light sensor, which is mounted in a defined grid. The measuring system can be connected to the plant control via different interfaces (parallel, serial or network)
